Tudor Cisu is a young man who possesses a proven track record of accomplishments. For four years, he consistently coveted a place in Fayetteville-Manlius High School honor roll, a feat that is typically hard for most people his age to accomplish. He was also the recipient of numerous major academic awards including top medals in National Latin Exam.

His natural aptitude makes him capable of acquiring and developing various practical skills. For one, he is a multilingual person who can speak, write and understand 6 languages in different levels of competency. English and Romanian are his native languages, but his skills in Latin, Spanish, French and Italian are just amazing for his age.

And while his name is not recorded in the Guinness Book of World Records, his skill in solving the Rubik’s Cube is something that is truly remarkable. He can figure it out in less than 45 seconds.

When it comes to computers, Tudor Cisu’s aptitude is not of the typical sorts. He knows 3 computer languages and he understands the intricacies of computer operations, especially Microsoft Office applications. He also has experience in designing web sites as well as in HTML.

While Tudor Cisu may seem deeply engrossed in his pursuit for learning, he still found time to spend for civic works. At St. Joseph’s Hospital Health Center, he helped countless patients as a volunteer transporter. 3. Tudor Cisu has been a tutor since 2003. His areas teaching include reading and math. Aside from that he is also a PSAT/SAT instructor for high school students.

4. He can solve the Rubik’s Cube in a much lesser amount of time than most people. The time in particular is 45 seconds. In addition, he has also solved other versions of the cube as well the Rubik’s sphere.

5. Aside from his knowledge in 3 computer languages, Tudor Cisu is also efficient in Microsoft office and has a typing speed of 110 words per minute.

With an impressive list of academic achievements to his credit, 19 year old Tudor Cisu is on the fast track towards a promising career as a physician scientist. However, Tudor Cisu is not in any particular rush to finish ahead of his peers.

He wants to experience college life like any other normal teenager would. Then again, how many teenagers apply for The American Heart Association’s Undergraduate Summer Fellowship in their sophomore year? Tudor Cisu is also part of two research teams. One at the Beaumont Bioengineering Research Laboratory at Binghamton University and the other at the Spinal Cord Injury and Neurorehabilitation Laboratory at SUNY Upstate Medical University.

Described as a “rising star” by one of his mentors in the Bioengineering Department at Binghamton, Tudor Cisu can already look forward to a promising career in his future. But for now, college life is enough for Tudor Cisu.
